Anderson Hardwood About& History:

Why Anderson Hardwood?

Anderson Hardwood is known for its superb craftsmanship, precise quality and innovative designs when it comes to hardwood flooring. They began as a small, family-owned business and has since grown to be one of the nation’s leading hardwood manufacturers. The company makes sure that their products revere family life with a rich, strong and welcoming warmth.

Style & Design Leadership

Their quality, beauty and durability are unmatched as they use styles that range from deep espresso tones to coastal-inspired painted floors to the fashionable grey accents.
"The end-product is a floor today's discerning consumer can be proud to own - and show off."

Anderson became an American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Industry Partner due to his world travels to find the latest interior designs. Their Research and Development team continually gathers feedback from design influences as well as holds a Designer Visions summit to get new design ideas from leading designers.

History Of Innovation

L.W. Anderson developed the Cross-Locked Engineered and it is still used as the standard for the industry. They use half as much raw wood by alternating the grain direction of five separate wood piles for a strong as steel product. It allows for wood floors to be glued down to a concrete slab which added to the versatility of his company. "Anderson is committed to continuous improvement and innovation."

Anderson started using an aluminum oxide high-wear wood floor finish in 1997 that was the first of its kind and then they introduced their Luster-Lock Ultra finish in 2009. They continue to make new innovations towards giving their consumers the peace of mind when they make the decision to purchase Anderson Flooring.
