Somerset Hardwood Flooring

Our most expansive division converts the Appalachian hardwood lumber into a lovely residential flooring that many residences all throughout America enjoy. SOMERSET FLOORING IS CARB 2 COMPLIANT

Somerset’s SolidPlus flooring is manufactured to be CARB 2 compliant. This has always been a staple of our product. Consumers should be encouraged to know that there is no formaldehyde involved in our processes. Two separate laboratories independently test our SolidPlus products. These tests found our brand to be “below quantification limits”, meaning that it is securely within the prerequisites for CARB 2 compliance. The Lacey Act has banned trafficking of illegal wildlife in the United States since its inception in 1990. The Act was amended in 2008 to include plants and commodities from plants like paper and timber. This marks the very first legislation in the world to ban trade in illegally sourced wood products.
