Bona Cut-In Pad Complete 4"x9" with Foam Pad
I was hoping the pad had the same stripes on the bottom, like other Bona mops, so the pad could be removed and replaced easy.
The cut-in pad works great for applying floor finishes. I've applied stain, water-based sealer, and water-based poly using the cut-in pad. Other reviewers have down-graded the cut-in pad because the pad failed to stick to the applicator. This does happen with solvent-based products like the stain that I used, but the pad only comes free when it is drenched in solvent, which happened for me when I was cleaning it. There are no adhesion problems when working with water-based products like sealers and polyurethanes from Bona.
Everything worked great until the sticky surface on the cut-in pad dissolved due to the liquid poly. From that point on the pad was basically useless. Happened about 300 feet into the job.
we are getting ready to use the kit and the cut in pad is complete but the T-Bar had no pad
I got this flooring for so many reasons. Firstly the no harmful VOC, warmer than other types of wood, softer on the feet, nice sound barrier. I read all the pros and cons and thought this would be the best floor for our upstairs. Unfortunately the floors got badly scratched the first day. We don't even know how. Then couple days later we noticed many, many scratches everywhere. They look like big shiny spots. I wouldn’t mind scratches if they were matted just like the floor. but they are shiny. And show up as shiny blotches all over the floor. The shiny scratches/blotches/permanent marks/stains, whatever you want to call them. They show up so annoyingly on this matted floor. I’m very disappointed. We also didn’t scratch the floor per say with anything so I’m wondering if they are chemical stains from the bottom of the shoes of the floor installers or the cleaning service people. I have laminate flooring downstairs and in the last 8 years we dragged everything around. It withheld kids and dogs and a lot of dragging furniture around. It’s so disappointing to have this new floor ruined within days. The main problem are the shiny marks. I really wouldn’t mind it if the scratches were matted/ same textured like the actual floor.
Arrived quickly just as promised we needed to have more for an ongoing project because our previous installer had gone out of business. We had looked for 2 months locally. Thank your for your service
I called last week as I never got my order. When I followed the tracking you sent it to Georgia and not me?
Wood sample was on back order still waiting
